What is our Inner Child? Our Inner Child holds the experiences we faced when we were going up: feeling dismissed, ignored, rejected, neglected or traumatized and abused. These wounds are held deep within us and change the way we see ourselves and the world we live in.
Becoming more aware of our inner child, we can unearth that pain and offer healing. Our inner wounded part(s) may be unconsciously choosing to be in situations and relationships with other hurt people. Bringing those experiences to light enables us to work towards healing and can increase a sense of well-being.
